I work at a Party rental company. We currently use Quickbooks to keep track of almost everything we do. However, in order to figure out if we have an item on a specific day, we need someone to perform a few searches in our system and someone else to go to the warehouse to check our quantities. Can quickbooks keep track of our stock for current and future rentals, and if not, does anyone know of an affordable and effective program that does?

Absolutely. Quickbooks can keep track of anything. You simply need to track it through the inventory feature…which is not available in the basic Quickbooks program. However, you may need to upgrade to Premiere to get it to do exactly what you want. Check out the links below.
